Our Wagyu Beef Program was developed to provide the very best experience in America using Wagyu cattle. We know that everyone's taste for beef is different and we set out to produce great beef that will meet a wide spectrum of personal experiences. Some love and want that western-style beef that is a juicy 1”- 1 1/2” Ribeye & Porterhouse steaks while others want to experience a flavor-rich Japanese Style steak with 35-50% IMF snowflake-like marbling. You may ask, what is IMF? (Intra Muscular Fat) It is the amazing healthy fat that gives you that melt in your mouth experience. So we at Wagyu Farms strive to provide you great Wagyu Beef that will meet your highest taste expectations. Wagyu Farms produces 3 levels or grades of wagyu beef. F1s which is 50% Wagyu and 50% Angus. F2s, 75% Wagyu and 25% Angus. And 100% Japanese FullBlood Black Wagyu, the highest marbling beef in the world.

Wagyu Farms uses a strict Japanese selection program known as “rotational breeding” coined by one of the most influential wagyu breeders in Japan, Shogo Takeda. In a very simplified explanation, you strive to breed larger framed wagyu cattle with the high marbling Tajima bloodlines to increase the marbling. Our goal is to add size from larger growth wagyu cattle to smaller Tajima wagyu bloodlines making a better-balanced wagyu cattle keeping that great marbling influence front and center.

Wagyu Farms focuses intensely on the Wagyu Maternal Lines that have been proven to be great foundational cows. Our foundational cows are the building blocks that provide our high marbling offsprings building a balance high-quality herd for us and to assist new breeders wanting to produce quality beef.
